Join us at 3 PM to cheer on our fellow Bahamian on the 76ers, VJ Edgecombe! Section 216, Row 12.

The Bahamas Philadelphia Foundation was founded in 1995 by a group of community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds of individuals each year.

Dressed in her Junkoo Outfit, Dr. Berdine Gordon- Littréan waved the Bahamian Flag, showcasing the beloved Junkoo tradition.
Junkanoo is The Bahamas’ iconic street parade known for bold costumes and electrifying rhythms. IIt’s a celebration of culture and community. Each year, the festival transforms the islands with color, music, and movement.

President Remonne Duncombe receives a historic proclamation recognizing the significance of July 10, 1973, marking a proud moment for the Bahamian community. The City of Philadelphia honors this milestone during the first Bahamian flag raising in Pennsylvania’s history. City Representative Kyra Harris presents the proclamation, celebrating culture, legacy, and unity.

We did our monthly gathering at the 76ers Home opener to support our fellow Bahamian, player VJ Edgecomb!
